To start, I think this is a very good idea. The colors and tones are beautiful and your stock and the stock you chose mesh really well together.
The background: The background is very well designed. The circular design of it, from the bats to the smoke, all are placed so that you have a hard time focusing on them instead of focusing on the model. It's really very smart.
The model: The model you chose fits perfectly and the colors of his vest, shirt, tie and hair all are great shades that complement each other and the background. Around the model, you can see a sort-of...lining that looks kind of copy-and-paste-ish. Erasing a little bit more around the model or using the blur/smudge tool could help fix that.
This last comments is more one of personal opinion, but the model looks very painted onto the picture. I like that effect and I also like the pale/pink of his skin. The bow is not on the violin, though, it's being held to the side. I guess that just bothers me personally.
Congratulations! You've done a really nice job with this piece. A very unique idea. You've done a great job on the composition. Thanks to the clever circular construction of the background, the eyes focus automatically on the model. Very well done! You've managed to create an outstanding background. And as you have mentioned it in the description, your skin retouch is quite well done as well. Gives a smooth and gloomy look, which goes very well with the idea of the image, and the moonlight. The two things I's like to point out, that you may change or improve are very insignificant, but they could change the whole image. One is the cutout of the model. You can see a kind of aura all around the model, that is clearly not meant to be there. Not a big issue, and may be easily fixed, however it makes the model stand out way too much, thus ruining the blending. The second thing would be a small lighting detail. The model doesn't have a shadow, which should be projected on wall by the moon behind him. This is very easy to fix as well, and it would help a lot on with the blending.
Overall the image is beautiful, and has a unique feeling. Very nice work. Once again congratulations
Thank you so so much for the comment! I'll keep that in mind and I'll try to improve it on my next manips. The background was a premade, I didn't made it, but overall it started as a "let's manipulate myself for a facebook photo xD" and it turned out I was having much fun with it, so I started to make it more "professionally" thanks a lot for the comment again, it means a lot
